The 5th PSE Conclave 2019 focused on ‘key issues’ pertaining to the Public Sector in India covering –
- PSE 2047 – Centenary Roadmap.
- Public Sector Divestment & Disinvestment – Pros & Cons.
- INDIA’s Infrastructure build-up and Critical Role of PSEs.
- Environment (includes Clean & Green Development), Innovation & Research in PSEs.
The conclusive idea at the “FORUM” flagged-off the issue that en-masse hitherto unscientific Privatisation of the strategic Public Sector areas like Defence, Energy, Steel, Mines & Minerals, Nuclear, Oil, Gas, Coal & Earth Resources, etc. must not be the government priority. Rather, a scientific cross-pollination of Public Sector and Private Sector in a Hybrid-Economy would work wonders with Public Private Partnership (PPP), rather than just participation model.
The core theme towards the report PSE 2047 – A Centenary Roadmap, under generation by ENERTIA Foundation and to be published by MARS Media Resources (MMR), focuses on “Professionalization sans Privatisation” of PSEs (Public Sector Enterprises) and deliverance of collaborative PPP for the future recourse.

Anamika Chhabra: Finalist of Mrs. India Queen of Substance 2019

Anamika Chhabra: Finalist of Mrs. India Queen of Substance 2019, a highly inspired lady keen to set a platform for the children with special needs!

A renowned educator, entrepreneur, and a social worker for the homeless, mentally and physically challenged children, Anamika Chhabra is now gearing up for Mrs. India queen of substance 2019. Being one of the best examples of versatility she is also pursuing specialization in special education. Her sole aspiration is to inform, engage and empower the society as she is also a Counselor for children with special needs. Both dedication and meticulousness run in her blood.
‘Live in the moment and make the most of it to make this world a better place for everyone’ is her life’s motto. Being an educator she always felt herself attached with children. During the time of her internship at The Shri Ram School the lady realized her life is beyond teaching ‘numbers and words’.  People say Anamika teaches something special with ease, but she feels she is learning something new every day. Talking about the same she stated, “Motherhood becomes a challenge when you realize that your child has delayed speech development and was unable to express himself like other children, that's when I stepped in and realized that I need to learn the skills to get him at par with rest of the children. As I was learning these skills I was introduced to many other development issues a lot of children face. My desire to help them gave me the strength to acquire myself with the knowledge of handling children with special needs. I got inspired to create a platform for these kids which lead me to be where I’m today at Mrs. India queen of substance.”
Further she added, “We become handicapped when we are not in presence of awareness.. Let’s spread knowledge... let’s join hands to create awareness around us and remove all the boundaries of our minds to make place in our hearts for everyone. I have reached to the point of self-acquired knowledge and capability to utilize all because I’m blessed as a woman and I’m proud of myself to be someone who is passionate about everything around me.”
Mrs. India queen of substance along with HCWA the philanthropy partner gave her the platform to connect with people and create awareness and apprise the society that people with special needs have the equal rights and privileges to be relished.

Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) is another example of Honda’s technology prowess. The Africa Twin’s Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) comes standard. Off-road riders will appreciate the fact that they can turn for the rear wheel.

With its roots in the Dakar Rally, Africa Twin is engineered with supreme off-roading capabilities. The Showa cartridge-type inverted front forkpre-load adjuster on both wheels and the option of adjusting suspension to a softer or stiffer setting contributes to the best off-road experience. The adjustable seat height easily accommodates wide range of riders while narrow riding position enhances handling under demanding conditions. Mass centralization is the core of this ultimate adventurer; heavy components such as battery are placed as close to motorcycle’s center of gravity as possible. The chassis design provides a wide 43-degree steering angle and a tight 2.5-metre turning radius.

“WOMEN AND MEN ON THE SAME TEAM? GET REAL!”

Royal Challenge Sports Drink Launches #ChallengeAccepted
A campaign with Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur, Veda Krishnamurthy and Virat Kohli that challenges gender stereotypes in Cricket.

Bangalore, 2nd April 2019: Royal Challenge Sports Drink today launched #ChallengeAccepted, a campaign that challenges gender-based stereotypes in cricket and spotlights a world of equality that will lead to a better tomorrow both on and off the field.
In the film, Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur, Veda Krishnamurthy from the Indian women cricket team and Virat Kohli come together to say that ‘A day is coming where the world needs to become equal’ and urges fans to accept the challenge to break the barriers in their mind and to see men and women’s Cricket as one game and one team which is not divided by gender.
The campaign challenges the belief that women and men’s cricket is not on par because of the perception that women are not as strong, as fast, or as fit as their male counterparts who rally bigger crowds and fanfare. To break the myth Royal Challenge Sports Drink is asking people to support the first ever mixed gender T20 match that the brand will organize with women cricketers and the Royal Challengers Bangalore team.
Voicing his support for the campaign, Virat Kohli says “Be it men or women, cricket is one game and I want to urge the fans to break the boundaries that exist in their mind that divides the sport by gender. Equality in sports is ultimately a reflection of equality in life and if we want a better tomorrow then we need to say #ChallengeAccepted and start breaking down all stereotypes.”
Speaking about the Royal Challenge Sports Drink campaign, Mithali Raj, under whose leadership India has reached World Cup final twice said, “Over the recent years, women’s cricket has made a lot of progress in terms of earning respect from fans and experts but the playing field is still not equal and the true difference are seen when there is parity in opportunities, salaries, coverage and fan support.”
In support of the campaignHarmanpreet Kaur said, “People say that women and men’s cricket is not equal because we are not able to face the same challenges on-field. To all those fans, I want to say that neither does the idea of facing a ball at 150 kmph daunt me, nor do I worry about the size of the stadium while hitting a boundary. The start to making cricket one game will come from fans saying Challenge Accepted and breaking the barriers in their mind.”
Veda Krishnamurthy adds, “If we want a world tomorrow where girls start looking at professional cricket as a real career option then we need to begin to change the game today. If we don’t put women and men cricketers on the same field then fans are not going to see it as one game, hence we are saying #ChallengeAccepted and asking the nation to support the mixed gender match that Royal Challenge Sports Drink is planning.”
Talking about the campaign, Amarpreet Anand, Executive Vice President & Portfolio Head, Diageo India, says, “With#ChallengeAccepted, the idea is to challenge stereotypes in life, because the bold are the ones who are fearless to do so. Our first point of view is to challenge gender stereotypes in cricket, where the game is being divided by gender & not skills & prowess. We believe that it’s a cause worthy of a conversation in culture & we are supporting the first mixed gender match with international cricketers. We are rolling out a full 360-degree activation plan supported by like-minded influencers & the RCB cricket team.”
Vishnu Srivastav - Creative Head at DDB Mudra South and East adds, “Royal Challenge as a brand has always stood for forward thinking and boldness. It has stood for the spirit of challenging the ‘now’. So, when it came to this campaign, with the euphoria linked to the cricket season we wanted talk about what’s missing in all this excitement – Women Cricketers. We wanted to create a campaign that challenges the world to move towards a more progressive and inclusive space for women, in sports and life. And we’re just getting started.”
