CTO in all Multinationals ensures seamless Technical Progress, IPR Creation & Advanced Tech Product Development. Indian companies and Government largely have no CTO. Development is FREQUENTLY hindered, Derailed & Hijacked.
Nehru had ‘Director General of Technical Development’ or DGTD for short. Every project private or PSU was cleared by this office. DGTD was gradually corrupted and then dismantled. Planning Commission didn’t take functions of DGTD in Planning Matters – Limited itself to Financial Management and even this was dismantled in 2014.

India has the ability to combine ancient and modern religious traditions
India has the ability to combine ancient and modern religious traditions says H.H. The Dalai Lama.(Rahul Bali, Senior Correspondent, Sagar Media Inc)
During a talk on the theme of “Role of Culture and Ethics in Promoting Peace and Harmony”, a programme organized by Antar-Rashtriya Sahayog Parishad (ARSP) and The Nehru Memorial Museum & Library. H.H. The Dalai Lama, a world renowned spiritual leader aged 82, a student of Nalanda university spoke about Buddha`s teachings. He said Buddha was a great thinker and practitioner of compassion, love, and human values and reasons. Buddha always emphasized on reason. Buddha said: O` my followers, scholars, preachers “Be a light unto yourself”. H.H. The Dalai Lama argued that there is no problem in any religion but problem lies in religious institutions and homegrown difference in religious traditions. He said India has tradition of compassion, love and secular-respect for all religions. According to H.H. The Dalai Lama, the era of feudalism is outdated; time of Kings and Queens are over, now time is for Democracy.World is interdependent. Citing an example of trade between Pakistan and India, he said both countries in trade terms are interdependent. While advising to the Indian Diaspora, the H.H. Dalia Lama emphasized on building Indian towns at par with China towns by Chinese. In a lighter vein, he said Chinese are hardworking and Indian are lazy people. Indian people need to be hardworking. At the end of his talk, H.H. the Dalai Lama emphasized that change will come by action not by prayer. He said that his mission is to revive ancient traditions.
Ambassador (Retd) Virendra Gupta, Former High Commissioner of India to South Africa and President of ARSP spoke about the Indian Diaspora in South Africa.
