Fourteen people, including three children, were injured when two passenger trains collided near the town of Cesky Krumlov in the southern Czech Republic, Radio Prague reported Thursday. Emergency helicopters reportedly attended the scene. Around 50 passengers were on board the trains, and most of them were tourists, according to police. The cause of the collision was not immediately clear. The 80km (50 mile) stretch of line between Ceske Budejovice and Cerny Kriz was expected to remain closed into the mid-afternoon, officials said.
