Santosh Hegde to continue in Lokpal Committee
Santosh Hegde continuing in Lokpal Committe relives many minds for his experience to give nation a competent draft of Lok pal bill his professionalism along with Bhushan's can draw safe passage for preparation of historic bill to curb corruption in high places.Members of civil society Draft committee has not been able to hold any praiseworthy deliberation with others professionals and thinkers of the society and their spokesperson always ducked the question on listening to public at large with profound outcry.Many NGO and think tanks held their press conferences on the subject and exhibiting their envious raised many questions but many believes that indeed an opportunity for the masses participation in the governance must have a chance. Many experts has the opinions and feels that the civil society team is unable to show their zeal and effectiveness to meet masses around the country and to hold meeting with Intelligentsia but in their press conferences their utterances,words are louder than their action. PTI Justice Santosh Hegde's threat to quit the Lokpal drafting committee over the alleged smear campaign against civil society activists blew over today with their representatives deciding that he will continue in the panel.A meeting of the activists led by Anna Hazare also decided to write to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Chief Justice of India S H Kapadia offering themselves to any high-level inquiry into any allegations against them."The Committee recognised that the prime national duty of India Against Corruption has been to provide the country an independent and accountable Lokpal."The Committee resolved that Hegde will continue as a member.
