The Coastguard has traced all the 33 trawlers with 550 fishermen on board which went missing in the Bay of Bengal since Thursday night following heavy rain. South 24 Parganas District Magistrate N S Nigam said, the fishing vessels were found from Kendo creek and from waters near Bangladesh after radio communication with them was restored. Caught in heavy rain and gusty winds, most of the 33 trawlers were blown off course towards the Bangladesh territorial waters.
Monsoons playing havoc now bring life in Kolkata back to normal after a deep depression, which caused heavy rain in the city and its neighbourhood, drifted away to lay centred 50 kms east of Bankura. Weatherman predicts heavy to very heavy rain in Bankura and the entire Gangetic belt of West Bengal during the next 24 hours.

The Monsoon is likely to cover most parts of Uttar Pradesh in next two days.In Maharashtra ,the work of clearing the debris on the Mumbai - Goa route of the Konkan Railway is in its final stages and Konkan Railway officials have said that train services are expected to be restored by tomorrow morning.
