State Specific Applications and BPR

State Specific Applications and BPR;

In its continuous efforts to implement the e-Panchayat concept the Ministry of Panchayati Raj has advised the States/UTs that based on the ISNA & BPR conducted, re-engineering of 28 existing citizen centric services is required. In many States, new services have been demanded by citizens through the Panchayats. The States accordingly need to devolve these functions to the Panchayats and implement the revised processes. e-Panchayat would deliver these services more economically and efficiently.

The Ministry has also reiterated that ss given in the DPR, State specific applications should be developed by the States in consultation with MoPR/NIC team to ensure interoperability of these packages at the design stage itself.
