India today bagged two silver medals in the Flenders Cup athletics event in Leuven, Belgium. Ace Indian middle distance runner Tintu Luka finished second in the 800 metres race. She had to settle for the silver despite coming up with her season's best performance, clocking two minutes, zero one point seven five seconds.
America's Latavia Thomas won gold, while Canada's Bekkeau Karine won the bronze in the event. The second silver came through Ghamanda Ram who took the second place in the men's 800 metres run.
