Churchill Bros to clash with Prayag United in Durand Cup finals


Former champions Churchill Brothers today outplayed Shillong Lajong FC 4-1 to set up a summit clash against Prayag United in the 124th Durand Cup football tournament in New Delhi.

Prayag United had defeated Pune FC 2-0 in the first semifinal on Thursday.

Twice champions Churchill will, however, miss their star striker Henri Arnaud in the final tomorrow as the Gabon international was sent off in the 55th minute after receiving a second yellow card.

All India Radio will broadcast live commentary of the match tomorrow, alternately in Hindi and English.

It can be heard on Rajdhani Channel and additional frequencies from 1740 hrs onwards.
