Mamata's ultimatum to UPA to roll back hike of petrol

2011-11-04 10:35:49 - New Delhi/Kolkatta-Nksagar-Sagar Media Inc;Mamata has said in her briefing the media has given threat to UPA to roll back the latest hike price of petrol as she was not consulted before the hike is made.She said my efforts to talk to various ministers has bought no results.
TMC chief Mamata said 11 hikes in 11 months are unacceptable to us.She threatens to walk out of UPA .Further adds we have tolerated too much for the UPA to load pressure on people..Any more economic pressure will not be tolerated.Our responsibility to the people of this country.We will wait for the PM to be back home.There is no coordination system in the running and decision making of the government .Ours senior ministers have been outlined.Her fina word is either roll back the latest hike petrol or we quit the government.
UPA is minority government and needs the partner to run the government and in case if they fail to co-ordinate then we are likely to walk out of the government.She
further adds that she has spoken to Sr Minister as mark of respect for the Cabinet Committee and Core committee meet.Congress relies on her partners and Congress has never consulted us on the hike of fuel -petrol.She said our MP's are to fight for the cause.
