Shastri Under-21 women's hockey:India & Germany Win

Nksagar-Sagar Media Inc;Anupa Barla dribbling the ball past the Kiwi goalkeeper from the right scored in eighth minute of the game thus giving India lead of one goal.New Zealand leveled after four minutes as  Sian Fremaux, Minute later in 13 the Minute  India regained the lead through Anju Dhiman from a penalty-corner.Kiwis dominated the game thereafter had a chance at the Indian post in the 16th minute with a penalty-corner but failed to hold chance Kiwis lost another chance when India escape in the 31st minute as the ball squirreled off the bar.

India at the second half began with spirited aggressive tone, building strong attack from the left but New Zealand plyed well in defense thus escaped unscathed.India with lead of 2-1 bowed down to new Zealand at 43 minute as the visitors played aggresive r game and Tara Hal converted a penalty-corner to bring Kiwis to level the score 2-2 thus back in the match.Kiwis player much physically strong and tough Kiwis tried efforts but luck eluded their way as they came hard on the Indian goal. Host Team, played smart hockey with good passes and well dribbling technique to sealed the match when skipper Poonam Rani scored from a penalty-corner in the 68th minute taking the score to 3-2."We played attacking hockey in the first half but they came back strongly in the next one. I am happy with the way the girls played; it has given me more hope of finishing the tournament on a high," said an elated skipper Rani.

Germany strike at an early by Rebecca Grote to score a convincing 3-1 victory over Australia.Rebecca scored in the third minute to give her side an early lead,  Australians leveled in the 41st minute.

Germans took control of the match five minutes later with a strike from Marilena Kraub.Lisa-Marie Keim then scored a goal in the final minute to seal Australia's fate.
