congress leader and Union Minister Sandeep Bandopadhyay asserted in Lok
Sabha that UPA coalition is stable and the govt will run full term. Later he also said his party's priority is also roll back of railway passenger fare hike.Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi said he will resign if his leader Mamta Banerjee or Prime Minister asked him to do so.Insiders
say that a way out is possible with a with a reconsideration of a fare
hike for unreserved and ordinary class passengers. On replacing Trivedi
by another TMC nominee Mukul Roy as demanded by party boss and West
Bengal Chief Minister Banerjee, the Prime Minister himself told
reporters outside the House that "if anything like this develops, we
will consider it".

further said the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has received a
communication from Trinamool Congress chairperson Mamata Banerjee which
was under active consideration."As

without divulging details of the communication which, he said, was
received late Wednesday night.On
the issue of the status of rail budget that was presented on Wednesday,
Pranab Mukherjee clearly said, "The rail budget is now the property of
the Parliament." "Rail
Budget is now the property of the House. Each and every member has the
right to approve every clause in it," he said in Lok Sabha on Thursday.
Mukherjee's
statement came after an impromptu debate in the House with opposition
members seeking suspension of Question Hour on the plea that an
unprecedented and unusual situation had arisen following the reported
resignation of Trivedi.Speaker
Meira Kumar disallowed the notices of suspension of Question Hour but
allowed Leader of the Opposition Sushma Swaraj and others to speak on
the issue.
Leader
of Trinamool Congress in the House Sudip Bandopadhyay said his party
members have not asked the Railway Minister to tender his resignation.
