NSFDC & ITDC signs MoU for skill development training programmes

An agreement is signed between National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC) and India Tourism Development Corporation on Saturday 14 April 2012 at New Delhi to undertake skill development to generate employment for youths belonging to Scheduled Castes.NSFDC has recently amended its Skill Development Training Policy to enter into partnership with reputed trainng Institutions and organize Skill Development Training directly for the benefit of its target group. Ashok Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management AIH&TM will train 1,000 persons belonging to Scheduled  Castes in various trades of the Hotel Industry and place them in jobs with initial salary ranging between Rs 3000/- to Rs 8000/- per month.Candidates will be intially provided with 6/8 weeks Training under the “Hunar se Rozgar” Scheme of the Ministry of tourism.
Training Programmes will be conducted by AIH&TM in its Centres all over the country.
