Morsi won Egypt Prezpoll
Muslim brotherhood candidate Mohamed Morsi has been elected the President of Egypt as
Announced on state television.The election commissioned announced that Mr Morsi won with 51.7% of the votes and Shafiq received 48.7% of votes.Last week election were held and the announcements of results were delayed due to the complains filed by both candidates.
The supporters of Morsi at Tahrir square in Cairo cheered when the Egypt state Televsion read the results of the victory of their candidate,waved their nationa flag in joy and danced to celebrate the home coming of democracy.
Muslim brotherhood In Egypt is an Islamist religious,political social movement and was legalized after the revolution of 2011.The political and social outfit has more than 6,00,000 members professionally organized.
