Tornadoes creates havoc in northern Poland

A freak wave of tornadoes has ripped through northern Poland on Sunday, killing one person and another injuring 10 others. One person was killed and 400 hectares of woodland were flattened in the Baltic region of Pomerania. Al Jazeera's Emma Hayward reports.Footage from the tornado-hit areas shows the second floor of a building being completely blown away, and cars that have been carried away by gusts being slammed onto the ground.
A series of tornadoes that spawned in northern Poland has knocked down about 100 homes and twisters ripped through three provinces in northern Poland, including Pomorze, tearing away roofs and causing houses to collapse. More than 400 hectares of woodland inside a national park were reportedly flattened.
Tornado occurrences are a rarity in Poland.Tornadoes was traveling at the speed of 240 KM per Hour and is expected to have done more damage.
