Dear friends,
Another Tuesday and here
we are with a newsletter fresh and full of news, information and
announcements. To begin with, we have our event highlights as planned
for the Frankfurt
Book Fair. So, we are ready with our two Matchmaking events and – one
for the Printers and another for the STM Publishers. We are focusing on
outing together targeted events for both these important groups for the
first time and hope that you find it of interest
as well. If so, please email us on what you think of such events and
what would you like us to focus on in the future. Also, for these two
matcmakings here, feel free to email us and register for them. And as
you do that, there is also the very interesting
FICCI Business Lunch for which entry is open as well and you can also
get a better idea of the programme in the corresponding article.
What is exciting on top
of this, is that we are offering an additional 20% waiver on the actual
price of registering for the Frankfurt Academy events at the Frankfurt

Matchmaking Events at Frankfurt Book Fair 2012

While
we eagerly wait for the day the Frankfurt Book Fair 2012 actually
starts, we are looking forward to days full of activities and
interactions, keeping
in view the events that are happening including the ones we have
planned for. Fuelled by one of our aims to facilitate business through
targeted networking, we are organizing two
Matchmaking sessions- one for the
STM Publishers and the other for publishing companies interested in meeting
Printers which is being organized
by Khublei in cooperation with the GBO. Through these we wish to
address the business interests and needs of the specific groups in
question which are integral
to the publishing industry. We hope that you will find them unique and
relevant, even as we’ve envisaged them to be filling in some of the
existing gaps in niche networking opportunities.
Once
again, we’d like to bring to your notice that these are events to which
registrations are open until the few available seats are there. And in
order
to register for the STM Publishers’ Matchmaking, please email

This
is an opportunity for the Indian STM publishers to meet their
international counterparts and vice versa in their bid to explore
business opportunities
together. We are inviting registrations from the Indian STM publishers
interested in trading rights with international publishers and looking
to sell their titles to institutional buyers. We are also looking
forward to welcoming the international publishers,
distributors and librarians interested in meeting Indian STM/academic
publishers to register for this session which brings them in contact
directly with the players in the burgeoning Indian STM market.
