AIRASIA X WINS 2012 BEST NEW ROUTE LAUNCH AT THE BUDGIE$ & TRAVEL AWARDS
 
 
SEPANG, 19 SEPTEMBER 2012 – AirAsia X, the long-haul low cost carrier of the AirAsia Group, was awarded the Best New Route Launch- Haneda at the 2012 Budgie$ & Travel Awards held in Sofitel, London last night.
AirAsia X was given the recognition based on evidence of excellent profitability of new route and unique and innovative approach to partnerships and negotiations. The other finalists in the category include easyJet- Luton Kelflavik, Southwest - Atlanta, SpiceJet- Delhi and VietJet Air- Ho Chi Minh City/Hanoi.
The Budgie$ & Travel Awards celebrates the leadership, efforts, accomplishments and the ingenuity of the low cost aviation industry and the Asian travel industry. The annual event is a night to honour the industry’s innovators, forward thinkers and revolutionaries.
