Arvind Kejriwal led protest against hike in power tariffs

Anna and Arvind tensions beginning to peak in Team Anna over converting the anti-corruption movement into a political party, Kejriwal had travelled to Ralegan Siddhi “a few months ago” with a cheque of “around Rs 2 crore” and requested Anna to accept it. The sources could not recollect the exact date when Kejriwal made his request.


Arvind Kejriwal, the has offered to hand over to the Anna  unspent funds of India Against Corruption (IAC) lying with Kejriwal’s NGO Public Cause Research Foundation (PCRF), sources close to Hazare in his village Ralegan Siddhi said.Hazare, however, declined to accept the money, these sources said.

Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday led hundreds of activists in a protest against hike in power tariffs, alleging that the Delhi government and private discoms were out to loot people. The activists gathered at Jantar Mantar this afternoon and shouted slogans against Congress-led Delhi government and private discoms.With Kejriwal,  prominent activists who attended the protest were Prashant Bhushan, Manish Sisodia, Kumar Vishwas and Sanjay Singh. Arvind blames CM Delhi for the nexus between Delhi government and corporate for showing poor results when in actual the corporate needs to pass on the benefits to the consumers.
