Srinagar welcomes it’s first ever women’s professional golf tournament

Srinagar, September 10 : Brave heart women’s professional golfers are all set to debut at the Royal Srinagar Golf Course for the fourth leg of the Hero Women’s Professional Golf Tour 2012-13. The three-day tournament will be played at the picturesque course located at the foothills of the Zabarwan Mountains in the valley state of J&K from the 11th-13th of September 2012.
Rookie Vani Kapoor who currently leads the Order of Merit has her eyes set on a consecutive winners cheque, after showcasing excellent form in the just concluded third leg at the Prestigeshire Golf Club, Bangalore. Others to watch out for would be Delhi Golfers Smriti Mehra and Nalini Singh Siwach, while Kolkata Golfer Neha Tripathi will look forward to seal her maiden victory in the 2012-13 season of the Hero women’s Professional Golf Tour.
