Executive Summary: - News Media is Fourth Pillar of Democracy and TV media reach every home that has Television – and affects everyone except age 12 months or under. I subscribe to three newspapers besides, members of Internet Groups and access many other E-Newspapers. Out of many thousand news – Paid and Corrupted TV News Channels pick up few Rape & Murder Cases, Few Accidents, Few Film Based Programs – Rest is Dedicated to Character Assassination in a systematic way – invariably moderated by matriculation pass anchors who had not taken any full time Journalism Degree Course ‘Pass Derogatory Comments on Supreme Court Judgments and Policy Decisions’ Disregarding Journalistic Ethics and Accountability to Society and to Law of Land who every day go on Character Assassination of prominent people and their Two Three Generations as full time agenda – on the basis of ‘Unsigned Imaginary Stories’ told by three four favored ‘Media Created Important People’ in spite of their own involvement in Cheating and Frauds. I am fortunate to own DTH with capability to access 1000 channels but currently offer around 200 and just 13 National Channels owned by 5-6 Broadcasters for 1200m population – (cable connections get 50-70 channels) all owned by Corporate directly or through advertising revenue. Even the 1% news related to Corporate who are Intimately Connected to every individual as Product or Service Providers – are ‘Distorted’ – Cheating and Deficient Service of Electricity Company in Delhi that leads to Tariff increase is reported as ‘Chief Ministers Failure’ when clearly ‘Regulators Are Responsible for Fixing Tariff’ and even Supreme Court had upheld orders of ATE as an example. Almost every other day these channels Predicts Fall of Government and count the number of MPs supporting ruling party. This is CRIPPLING Government Functioning, Retarding Progress, Service to Poor and news Reports of Some Parties are HUSHED Up others repeated daily.

Ramdev on several channels said – ‘Had daughter of Sonia Gandhi been raped only then she would understand the sufferings --’
Aaj Tak – Grandson of Ex President Dr. Zakir Hussain and his spouce operating Dr. Zakir Hussain trust forged ‘Affidavits’ and distributed aid to Unknown People, Even as Minister Salman Khurshid and his spouse may have not attended Trust Office in Farukhabad constituency even for a single day.
Kejriwal – Released ‘Unsigned Statement’ without any expert Chartered Accountant Verification and for 6-7 days alleging ‘Favors to Robert Vadara’ and Character Assassinating UPA Chairperson and Prime Minister when there are Legal Transactions Reported in Annual Reports.

Ø TV Channels on the basis of ‘Unsigned and Unverified Documents’ even after ‘Official Rebuttal by HUDA’ continue Character Assassination day and night.
Ø They have collected Rs. Crores as Donations To Fight Corruption but had not filed a single application or complaint in appropriate court and find new excuses for Character Assassination Everyday.
Kejriwal – Instead of Exposing and Reporting Cheating and Fraud of Delhi Power Companies plans to ‘Cut Electric Connection of Chief Minister Residence’ on October12, 2012 and had already Burnt Electricity Bills of Consumers and TV Channels are interested in ‘Fanning Unlawful Activities.’
This is Criminal Behavior of Both Kejriwal and TV Channels who were silent on Criminal Activities of Electric Companies for 10 years, had not filed any Complaint with DERC against Tariff increase – people who had filed complaints of Cheating & Frauds are not REPORTED.
THUS THIS PURELY CHARACTER ASSASSINATION AND DELIBERATE MISCHIEF OF TV CHANNELS.
Simultaneous broadcast of ‘Character Assassination’ by National & Regional Channels points to ‘Paid Action & Extortion.’
REMEDY: -
1. Please order ‘Judicial Enquiry’ in to the conduct of National News Channels and Register Appropriate Criminal Cases.
2. Please Constitute Supreme Court Monitored ‘Independent News Monitoring Authority to Penalize Rogue TV Channels.’
3. Please Specify Qualifications for Chief Editors of TV Channels as PhD in Journalism or 30 Years Experience for Graduates and Graduation in Journalism for TV Anchors.
4. Please order 1. Common Up-linking of Broadcast 2. BSNL DTH Service to Carry all Free to Air Channels and GOI funds for 550 District TV Channels to ensure ‘Adequate Reporting Of News’ and Excellence in Journalism.

SC issues notice on Golden Quadrilateral

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Friday issued notices to CBI, Centre and Bihar government on a petition seeking independent probe into the allegations of corruption in the prime minister's dream Golden Quadrilateral project connecting national highways across the country.
A Bench of Justices Ruma Pal and P V Reddi also issued notice on petitioners - an NGO 'parivartan' and father of slain Bihar engineer Satyendra Dubey - on the question of enacting a "Whistle Blowers Act" to bring to the fore several incidents of corruption that go unreported due to fear of reprisal from government.
When asked to why the court should entertain a series of public interest petitions following the brutal murder of Dubey, petitioners' counsel Prashant Bhushan said that in a PIL matter it was better to entertain a few of them on the same issue so as not to leave out any important aspect of the issue that concerned the public.
Dubey, a civil engineering graduate from IIT Kanpur and associated with the GQ project in Bihar, was murdered on November 27, 2003, a few days before he was to take charge as project manager at Koderma.
Dubey had sent a letter to the prime minister's office in which he complained about massive corruption in the construction of the project.
The court has already issued notices to the PMO among others on a lawyer Rakesh U Upadhayay's PIL seeking a CBI probe into Dubey's murder.
Dubey's confidential letter to PM Atal Behari Vajpayee was leaked in the government and he was soon murdered in cold blood, the petition had said.
Upadhyayay said despite Dubey's request not to divulge his name, his identity was disclosed, which led to his murder.
The PMO has however denied the government having ever leaked the name of Dubey.
