RATNAMALA ATELIER

Ratnamala is a precious collection of contemporary fiction from Indian literatures in parallel text edition, published by AOriente! ( Milan ). Born as a pearl string of less commonly translated works, it developed into a journey across cultures and languages, a workshop which involves literary, artistic, and academic fields, and joins together suggestions, imagery, and contributions from manifold and dynamic expressive worlds. This multi-modal presentation will illustrate literary and visual translations of three Hindi short stories

Alessandra Consolaro is presently Adjunct Professor of Hindi Language and Literature and research scholar at the Department of Humanities of the University of Turin . Her field of interest and research covers the following topics: South Asia history, colonial and postcolonial theory; contemporary Hindi fiction, critical study and translation, feminist critique and gender studies

For security reasons, you are requested to kindly bring the attached invite and your valid membership card/photo id.
