FICCI Business delegation to Japan

We are pleased to inform you that FICCI in partnership with the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) is planning to hold the 38th Joint Meeting of India-Japan Business Cooperation Committee (IJBCC) in Tokyo on the 12th and 13th of February, 2013. The
focus of this meeting would be to encourage Japanese investment,
especially from Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to India.From the Japanese side, more than 150 Japanese companies would participate to discuss further possibilities for business engagements in the areas of agriculture and food processing, textiles, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, infrastructure, ICT, auto components, skill development etc with Indian companies.
Based on your business interest, we would organize one to one business meetings with Japanese companies during the visit. The other major highlights of the visit include: factory/industrial park visits; One-to-one B2B meetings, interaction with decision-makers in the Government. The tentative itinerary is attached for your reference.
Mr. Onkar S Kanwar, Chairman, India Japan Business Cooperation Committee (IJBCC) and CMD, Apollo Tyres Limited will be leading a delegation of industrialists to attend this meeting along with Mr. Rohit Relan, Co-Chairman of IJBCC & Managing Director, Bharat Seats Limited.
In view of the importance of the visit, we would be grateful if you could kindly join the business delegation to Japan. If, on account of other business engagements you are unable to join, kindly nominate a senior executive from your organization to be a part of the delegation.
In order to defray a part of the Secretariat expenses, we are obliged to charge a delegation fee of Rs. 20,000/-. We look forward to receiving your kind confirmation, latest by 4th January 2013.
