INTER-FAITH PRAYER MEETING FOR NIRBHAYA'S ONE MONTH DEATH ANNIVERSARY
TUESDAY, JANUARY 29, 2013
11:00 a.m.
New Delhi YMCA,
Heinz Auditorium, Tourist Hostel,
Gate No. 1, Jai Singh Road, New Delhi-110001.

Nirbhaya is gone and leaves behind a shamed and a mourning nation. In her death Nirbhaya has become the symbol of how we have, as a nation and people let her down and the status of woman-considered to be symbol of SHAKTI. While expectedly there have been debates, discussions and protests on this, including the tendency of the ruling class to blame this on 'social evils', but we must make sure that Nirbhaya's life, her struggles and indeed her painful death isn't in vain.
