Kid’s day out with the Pros at Aircel Chennai Open
Chennai, 1st January, 2013: Aircel Chennai Open 2013, India’s only and South Asia’s leading ATP World Tour event today conducted a special tennis clinic for children with the professional players. Representing the players were India’s young tennis professionals - Divij Sharan, Jeevan Neduncheziyan, N. Sriram Balaji, Vignesh Peranamallur, Mohit Mayur Jayaprakash, Ramkumar Ramanathan along with eighth seed Go Soeda of Japan and Michael Kohlmann from Germany.
The tennis clinic is a distinctive opportunity for aspiring youngsters to hone their skills with personal interactions by professional Indian and international tennis players. The session saw over sixty kids from various TNTA academies in action and was conducted by Milos Galecic, Somdev Devvarman’s strength and conditioning coach.
As part of the activity, the children worked on warm-up exercises, various drills, techniques and hit balls with the pros. Milos Galecic even interacted with the parents who were present and helped them with guidance and tips to develop a healthier body for their children.
Present at the event was tennis legend Vijay Amritraj and the session was conducted by Charu Sharma.

The USD 430,000 Aircel Chennai Open, owned by IMG and operated and organized by IMG Reliance, is India and South Asia's only ATP World Tour event.
