Date: 15th-16th March, (Firday & Saturday), 2013

Venue: Sant Ravidas Dharmshala, Sector-3,
R K Puram, New Delhi

Our aim would be that in these two days we talk about issues related to housing, employment, basic services, security and identity and our struggle with these. We will also try to look at the policies of the government and their feasibility.

Why do the people who work and toil , of both cities and villages, are not benefitting from development? How has privatization affected our society? What are the different ways and means of putting forward the demands and voices of the people across to the state? How can we challenge the anti people sentiment? And how can we ensure and strengthen the bond and linkages among ourselves?

Cultural medium has always lent a helping hand in enabling people to find the answers to such questions. Let’s once again come together and initiate this process!

We invite you all to Sant Ravidas Dharmshala, Sector 3, RK Puram, New Delhi on 15th and 16th March, 2013.

The programme will be held from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on these two days. It will include both, discussions and cultural performances. We request you that along with the workers of your organization please bring along people from the communities that you work and interact with.
You can prepare a cultural performance with your team to present at the festival. You can also put up a stall on behalf of your organization. However, please do let us know your requirements for the same so that we can arrange for them.
