North Korea responds to UN resolution


  North Korean Foreign Ministry  denounced the new UN sanctions resolution on North Korea, calling it a product of the US hostile policy toward the North. NK hinted at further provocations, such as nuclear tests and missile launches.The ministry issued a statement on Saturday through the state media two days after the UN Security Council unanimously approved the tightened sanctions in response to its third nuclear test.

Nk officials said,UN Security Council cooked up five sanctions resolutions against the North, which will  only result in the country's bolstering of its nuclear deterrent both in quality and quantity, statement further adds  the world will clearly see how the country will reinforce itself as a permanent nuclear weapons state and satellite launcher as a result of these sanctions.

North Korea declared, it will scrap the 1953 armistice that ended the Korean War and nullify its non-aggression agreements with South Korea as of Monday.
