US Joint Chiefs Chairman Martin Dempsey met with his South Korean counterpart Jung Seung-jo in Seoul on Sunday.US military officials say the two top officers exchanged views on their studies of North Korea, which has been repeatedly engaging in provocative words and acts.

They said the two yop officers agreed that North Korea does not seem to be taking any unusual actions, but it is difficult to predict what it will do next.Dempsey changed the itinerary for his Asian tour to visit the South amid rising tensions on the Korean Peninsula.

Dempsey's official tjree day visit begins on Monday. He will meet with officials from the Chinese military and government before moving on to Japan on Thursday. Media agencies
