Rohani leading in Iran elections

Iran’s presidential elections trickling the preliminary results, the moderate cleric Hassan Rohani running ahead of Tehran’s Mayor Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf by a significant lead, and nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili, who is just behind Qalibaf.
More than 50.5 million voters are eligible to vote in the election to choose a successor to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Hassan Rouhani has gained 49. 87 percent of the votes as Tehran’s Mayor, Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, got 16.65 percent and Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator garnered 13.11 precept state Tv reports.
Exact number of the participants in Iran’s Friday presidential election has not been announced by Iran’s interior ministry so far.

In case no candidate wins a majority, the top two  to face a run-off vote in one week.
