Shilpa Shetty Kundra Congratulates Ripu Handa
The Yummy Mommy of B-Town Shilpa Shetty Kundra recently bumped into the MasterChef India season-3 winner Ripu Daman Handa. The two met at the red carpet of STAR Parivaar Awards that took place at Yash Raj Studio.
Shilpa, who had come at the awards, was elated to meet the young Chef. Shilpa congratulated Ripu and also wish him luck in his further endeavors. Ripu who was more shocked then surprised didn’t know how to express his feelings. When contacted the talented boy said, “I was so shocked when Shilpa Shetty Kundra came to me and congratulated me on my win. It was a very big day for me as I was first time walking the red carpet that too of STAR Parivaar awards and the stunning stress came personally and congratulated me. For me it’s a very big complement.”

KAPIL SIBAL RECITES POEM AT STAR PARIVAAR AWARDS!
This year STAR Parivaar Awards will have some of the most unique and never seen before performance. One of them will be the breath taking performance by Pankhuri aka Disha and Ratan aka Sneha. What makes this special is, the Union Minister of the country, Kapil Sibal recited his poem at the 11thSTAR Parivaar awards. The minister, who is appreciated for his talent of writing poems, gave his poem for this special act.
The act portrayed the current scenario about how the Indian women are subjected to atrocities every day at the hands of a merciless society and the male counterpart, and forced to live in fear and insecurity.
The poem in the act has a strong message that inspires women to raise their voice and confront the situation and stand up for her, and finally culminates by showing how the women get inspired and rise to the occasion. Not only did the strong words of the poem, “Aankh khuli aazad thi main, aazadi mein zanjeerein kyun, mere bhi kuchh sapne thae, bedardi se torde kyun”, send out a strong message to the audience but it also encouraged a lot of them to come forward and pledge to make change in the society.

KANICA TURNS DESIGNER FOR STAR PARIVAAR AWARDS!
KaniCa Maheshwari who is currently seen in Star Plus’s Diya Aur Baati Hum (DABH) as Meenakshi was really excited and anxious to make her debut at the 11th STAR Parivaar Awards. Kanica couldn’t be part of the Parivar awards last year due to her personal commitments, but she ensured her presence this year was a memorable one.
Unlike her screen persona, Kanica is an ultimate fashionista and a taskmaster in real life. She is extremely meticulous when it comes to keeping tab on recent trends and styles. So when it came to her first performance at the Parivaar awards, she jumped on the opportunity to represent the best of herself. Kanica didn’t leave any stone unturned and even designed and styled her own costume for the performance.
“I was extremely thrilled with the thought of my first ever performance on Star Parivaar awards. It was very overwhelming to perform with the entire star cast of DABH on a live platform but I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. In fact I have already decided how I am going to style myself next year.” quipped Kanica.
