An ordinance to protect convicted Leader under fire

An ordinance to protect convicted Leader took an interesting turn for two reason, one ,the
President Pranab Mukherjee questioned the need for an ordinance on convicted lawmakers when he called three ministers seeking the rationale behind it while opposition parties stepped up their attack on the issue.

President Mukherjee, to whom the ordinance cleared by the Union Cabinet on Tuesday was referred, called Home Minister and Leader of the House in Lok Sabha Sushilkumar Shinde, Law Minister Kapil Sibal and later Parliamentary Affairs minister Kamal Nath.

Secondly when Rahul Gandhi scion of Nehru-Gandhi,Vice President of Congress rebuked the ordnance at Press meet in the capital today.
Rahul Gandhi at a news conference in New Delhi rejects Manmohan Singh's ordinance and says "Ordinance on convicted MPs and MLAs should be torn up and thrown away. What our Govt has done is wrong".
Rahul Gandhi denouncing the ordinance has sent ripple effect in the government and leaders are making various stateement  but UPA U turn in this regards is certain to bring in lost glory.

Murli Manohar Joshi:in interview to the e Channel said UPA govt was in hurry to save certain elements with the ordinance on convicted netas.

Govt has decided to withdraw the Ordinance on corrupt netas and PM's authority has been eroded.
Barkha Dutt tweets, Rahul Gandhi's rebellion for a cause or distancing from political damage ? Either way the PM authority completely undermined with this.

For those who asked abt my silence on the Ordinance, I replied that I had learned the hard way that speaking out of turn was not OK4Minister
