In a frantic effort to project a third front for the 2014 general elections, four left parties are holding an ‘anti-communal convention’ in the national capital, with an eye on next year’s general elections. 14 political parties, including the Left, SP and JD(U) join hands to fight communal forces
Several parties like AIADMK, JD(U), SP, BJD, JD(S), Naga People’s Front, Sikkim Democratic Front, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha and RPI of Prakash Ambedkar will participate in the program.
Democratic forces should unite “as much as possible” to defeat fascist forces, said JD(U) leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at the event.
The Left hit out at BJP for resorting to communal politics during elections.
