Asia is one of the biggest markets of natural gas. According to IEA -International Energy Agency, Asia would emerge as world’s second largest gas market in a couple of years.
To promote NGV sector in India a three day International Conference & Exhibition – ANGVA 2013 is to be organized atIndia Expo Centre, Greater Noida, New Delhi NCR region starting from 27 Nov, 2013. This is being organized by Asia Pacific Natural Gas Vehicles Association (ANGVA), Bangkok exhibition services and promoted by GAIL Gas. Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers & Maruti Suzuki India Limited will be the supporting organizations for ANGVA 2013.

The Asia Pacific Natural Gas Vehicles Association (ANGVA) was established in 2002 and its main objective is to promote Asia Pacific NGV Industry towards sustainable growth. ANGVA is headed by leading natural gas sector industry patron Mr. LeeGiok Seng.

Backgrounder
ANGVA 2013 is Asia’s largest specialised event for Natural Gas Vehicles. ANGVA 2013 will provide an appropriate forum to deliberate on the key issues crippling the growth of the NGV business and will be aimed at addressing the concerns to make natural gas as the fuel of choice in the transportation segment. The theme of the conference is “Natural Gas for Vehicles- the Next Generation”. It includes an industry leading conference and an international trade exhibition offering focussed solutions for India’s NGV market. More than 100 Companies from 18 countries will be participating in the event.
ANGVA 2013 is organised by Asia Pacific Natural Gas Vehicle Association under the aegis of GAIL Gas Limited from 27th to 29th of November, 2013 at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida.

ASIA PACIFIC NATURAL GAS VEHICLES ASSOCIATION (ANGVA) is the Natural Gas Vehicle Industry Association for the Asia Pacific Region. The vision of the association to make natural gas the transportation fuel of choice in the Asia Pacific Region.
ANGVA 2013 will have the presence of international regulatory bodies, Government agencies, national and international gas and automobile stakeholders, project consultants, national and international fleet operators, environment protection bodies, city and state planning authorities, NGV station operators, R&D and testing laboratories, Public transport systems, shipping companies, vehicle fleet operators and many more.
The event will provide a unique proposition to interact, network and discuss with the leading CGD players, policy makers and automobile manufacturers with the latest technology development, trends in different countries, industrial practice etc.
We have invited Hon’ble Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dr. M. Veerappa Moily, Hon’ble Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Shri Praful Patel.
Following the trail since 2003 to Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Korea and Beijing, ANGVA selected India as the host of the fifth biennual ANGVA show and conference as it is the emerging market for natural gas.
