Last night I was horrified to see on IBN7 no progress in the lives of
Bundelkhand Poor who were as part of Moneylender and State government
force to leave the villages and farmers are denied Irrigation are
Starving in their own villages unable to produce enough food for
themselves.

So I decided to UNEARTH the Power SCAM (IBN7 had already exposed
Bundelkhand Package Loot, No Healthcare, No Education, No Irrigation &
Power and No PDS in the region)

Cost of Supply of Power in Central Distribution and other Eastern &
Western regions is highest in pithead generators area.

Since there is not much Industrial Development so entire burden to pay
the Electricity cost are charged to poorest directly or indirectly and
per capita electricity consumption in MP is barely 120 units.

Average tariff for consuming just 10 units per month is Rs.5.39 and

How effortlessly people of India are fooled by Modi & Shivraj BJP is
illustrated by just two paras in Hindi clipped here in annexure from
ARR for Central Distribution Company for 2012-13 P-7.

Criminal nexus between private operators and BJP is such that SASAN
committed to supply electricity at Rs.1.19 per unit but MP State
supply electricity to consumers at Rs.7.24 per unit.
committed to supply electricity at Rs.1.19 per unit but MP State
supply electricity to consumers at Rs.7.24 per unit.
Central Distribution company sell 10.9 BU of electricity in 2012-13
but input required is 15594 MU or 15.6 BU round figure. From consumer
end technical losses are 43%.
but input required is 15594 MU or 15.6 BU round figure. From consumer
end technical losses are 43%.
Revenue projected is Rs.4822 crores + Rs. 74 and at this revenue gap
is 3022 crores. Thus total cost of supply is Rs. 7919 crores.
is 3022 crores. Thus total cost of supply is Rs. 7919 crores.
Therefore average cost of electricity to World’s Poorest State is
7919/1094 = Rs.7.24 per unit. Some of it subsidized.
7919/1094 = Rs.7.24 per unit. Some of it subsidized.
Even at proposed 2012-13 tariff was Rs.5.39 per unit for revenue gap
of over Rs.2000 crores.
of over Rs.2000 crores.
But what is WORSE for The Poorest State in The World is that out of
10.9 BU sales Domestic Consumers and Farmers shall pay for 7.2 BU.
10.9 BU sales Domestic Consumers and Farmers shall pay for 7.2 BU.
Industrial consumption is barely 1.67 BU or 15% approx. So there is
not much scope for CROSS SUBSIDIZING RELIEF for Poorest of Poor in the
world.

As MYT document domestic consumption in Madhya Pradesh State is barely
9 BU for 2012-13, for 75 million people is 120 units per capita.
9 BU for 2012-13, for 75 million people is 120 units per capita.
And Operational losses are Rs.10,500 crores in supplying 33 BU or 3300
crore units even at highest tariff rates.
crore units even at highest tariff rates.
In the attachment [(iv) Tariff Proposal (write-up)] it is clear from
Central DISCOM collected Rs.2079 crores in 2006-07 and cost of supply
for 2012-13 is Rs.7919 crores.

CONSUMER BILLING QUADRUPLE IN SIX YEARS IN MP.
Imitating Gujarat Shivraj is also buying highest cost solar power.
