Jung has invited Delhi BJP for consultation on formation of gov in Delhi

Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung has invited Delhi BJP legislative party leader Dr. Harsh Vardhan for consultation on formation of government in Delhi.

BJP has emerged as the largest single party in the assembly polls, which threw up a fractured mandate with no party security majority in the 70-member assembly.

BJP has 32 seats, AAP 28 and Congress 8 seats in the assembly. VDr Harsh Vardhan will meeet the LG Najeeb Jung in the evening after attending the swearing-in ceremony of Raman Singh in Raipur in the day.

On Wednesday, both BJP and Aam Aadmi Party stuck to their ground of not forming a government and preferring fresh elections instead.

However, the Congress has indicated that it may consider unconditional support to the AAP for the formation of government.

The Lt Governor, on the other hand, continued consultations with experts to explore the next course of action.
