Barthwal’s Brace Help Solutrean-Hindustan F.C. Thump Down City F.C. 4-1 in DSA Senior Division League 2013

New Delhi, 2^th January 2014: Ajay Barthwal’s two spectacular goals helped Solutrean-Hindustan Football Club thrash City Football Club 4-1 in their fourth league match to bag three more points in the Group B of the DSA Senior Division League 2013 played at the CWG Sports Complex in Akshardham on Thursday.

Solutrean-Hindustan F.C. showed their domination in first half only when they scored three goals in just 33 minutes. Nigerian striker O.O. Sola scored Solutrean-Hindustan’s first goal in 5^th min of the match, giving a solid message to their opponents.

Striker Barthwal scored his first goal just after ten minutes (15^th min) and midfielder Dheeraj Singh increased the lead to 3-0 after scoring the third goal in 33^rd min. City F.C. managed to score their lone goal in the first half through Mwanda Alain, who netted the ball in 31^st min.

The C.R. Park-based football club kept trying to score more goals in the second half and but they faced stiff resistance from City F.C., due to that Solutrean-Hindustan missed many close chances. In the 80^th min, their star striker Ajay Barthwal scored his second goal through a brilliant pass from O.O. Sola and took the final score to 4-1.

After this match, Solutrean-Hindustan F.C. now has total ten points in the Group B. On 5^th January, they will face Goodwill Football Club at 12:45 pm.
