Let’s roar together
Hi Naresh,
Picture how it would feel if you had to describe the beautiful Sumatran tiger to your children and grandchildren because they are no longer around. How sad! How terrible that would feel, especially since when we had the chance, we did nothing about it. There’s still time, let's all stand together to Save the Sumatran Tigers.
Today, there are only 400 Sumatran tigers left in Indonesia’s forests.
Why? Because the forests they call home are being destroyed by some corporations to produce palm oil.
Did you know that India is the biggest importer of palm oil? Palm oil which is used in products you and I use every single day. Everything from our breakfast cereal to our shampoo has palm oil in it. But Naresh, palm oil can also be produced without destroying forests.
And you can make that happen. Right now.
You have the right to know if the products you use are in any way linked to tiger extinction. And I know you want your favourite brands to come clean on this issue.
We’re already making a difference. We had a major breakthrough in December when Wilmar, the world’s biggest palm oil trader, committed to a Zero Deforestation policy. Now, we have to make sure that Wilmar’s words on paper translate into actions on the ground and push other companies to follow Wilmar’s lead.
Add your name to Save the Tigers NOW!
