Marketing facilitation for MSMEs manufacturing enterprises/ exporters

Marketing facilitation to manufacturing MSMEs through their participation in State/ District level exhibitions being organized by State/ District Authorities/ Associations; and marketing platform to manufacturing MSEs through their participation in International Trade Fairs/Exhibitions under MSME India stall.

MSME Development Institute, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises provides marketing platform to manufacturing MSMEs (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises) through their participation in State/District level exhibitions being organized by State/District Authorities/Associations under Marketing Assistance and Technology Upgradation Scheme.

Under this scheme, Screening and Steering Committee (SSC) supported by the office of the DC (Development Commissioner) (MSME) will identify and approve manufacturing MSME units for participating in state/ district level local exhibitions/ trade fairs on the basis of the responses received through the MSME DIs (Development Institutes) and Industries Associations. In order to provide a better marketing platform to the MSMEs, the Government of India will reimburse 50% (up to Rs 20,000/- per unit) cost of space/ stall charges upto 6 sq mt. Further, 80% (upto Rs 30, 000/- per unit) assistance will be given to SC (Scheduled Caste)/ST (Scheduled Tribe)/Women/ Physically Handicapped entrepreneurs. The scheme is applicable for manufacturing MSMEs having valid Entrepreneurship Memorandum Part II (EM-II) issued from State Directorate of Industries/District Industries Centre.

Further, marketing assistance will be provided to Micro & Small manufacturing enterprises/ exporters to encourage their efforts at tapping and developing overseas markets so as to increase exports from the micro/ small manufacturing enterprises. The manufacturing MSEs (Micro and Small Enterprises) will get marketing platform through their participation in International Trade Fairs/ Exhibitions under MSME India stall. The Government of India will reimburse 75% of air fare by economy class and 50% space rental charges for Micro & Small manufacturing enterprises of general category entrepreneurs. While 100% of space rent and economy class air fare will be reimbursed for women/SC (Scheduled Caste)/ST (Scheduled Tribe) Entrepreneurs. The total subsidy on air fare & space rental charges will be restricted to 1.25 lakhs /unit. The scheme is applicable for manufacturing Micro & Small Enterprises Unit having valid Entrepreneurship Memorandum Part-II (E.M-II) issued from State Directorate of Industries/ District Industries Centre.
