MACE INVITED TO COME AND VISIT LUCKNOW.

Early on a Tuesday morning a presentation was made to the delegation by the MACE who built the London eye. Mace Group Ltd, commonly known as Mace, is a global consultancy and construction firm headquartered in London, United Kingdom, employing over 4,000 people, across five continents with a turnover in excess of £1bn. Mace’s business is programme and project management, cost consultancy, construction delivery and facilities management and is multi-disciplinary with services spanning the entire property and infrastructure life cycle. Mace has three strategic sectors serving clients in the private, public and infrastructure sectors and five strategic hubs in Europe, Middle East & North Africa, the Americas, Asia Pacific and Sub-Sahara Africa that service over 70 countries. The presentation was interesting and they have been invited to come and visit Lucknow.
A presentation was also made by the Royal Haskoening Company to the delegation. Haskoning India Pvt. Ltd. (HKIPL), a part of Royal Haskoning group of the Netherlands, is an independent firm of consulting engineers. With more than a hundred employees spread across India and offices at Noida & Mumbai, the services of Haskoning India focus on multi-disciplinary projects in various sectors, with a practical approach. They have rich experience in the field of cycling tracks and are also the consultants for the Netherlands.
The icing on the cake was the Chief Minister along with the delegation met the met officials of VNO-NCW, the Netherland’s largest industry organization representing 1,15,000 business houses to promote trade and investment relations between Uttar Pradesh and Netherlands in the areas of Infrastructure, Food and Agro processing, Research and Development, Energy and Environment sector. The Delegation met top CEO’s of Dutch companies like Phillips, Royal Haskoning DHV, ING, RABO and Unilever who have already shown interest in investing in India and welcomed the Dutch SMEs to invest in Uttar Pradesh and bring their niche technologies and world-class expertise to the state. They signed an INTENT FOR COOPERATION for the future and agreed to work together for promoting regional cooperation between the business communities of Uttar Pradesh, India and Netherlands to foster and strengthen trade and investment ties in focus sectors of mutual interest.
The INTENT FOR COOPERATION aims to encourage co-operation and exchange of information on policies, market conditions, business practices, local laws and business regulations as well as new business opportunities to accelerate bilateral trade and investment.
Both the sides shall facilitate and encourage initiatives aimed at bilateral engagement and business co-operation in seminars, networking events, workshops, training programmes, business delegations, study tours etc. The “Parties” shall regularly inform each other about their actions and initiatives of mutual interest.
VNO – NCW will bring a delegation to Uttar Pradesh during the forthcoming official visit of the Prime Minister of Netherlands to India. The Hon’ble Chief Minister announced that a special Desk will be established with a single window clearance for all Dutch companies who will invest in UP as there a huge opportunity of the Dutch pension fund being utilised for investments in UP.
Both sides will encourage trade mission in focus sectors between the two regions such as Textile & Leather, skill development, Food, Agriculture & Livestock, Energy, Health and skill development.
