Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) invites you to the release of its new publication – a first-of-its kind look at climate change adaptation with an ear to the ground.

Rising to the Call is a collection of case studies from all over India on the challenges of climate variability, the impacts they exercise on lives and livelihoods, and how communities are responding and successfully adapting to these challenges.

The discussion panel will comprise of some of the book’s contributors and writers, along with CSE director general Sunita Narain.

The book release and panel discussion is part of the two-day Fifth National Research Conference on Climate Change, being held

·         From 9:00 AM (both days)
·         At Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi (IIT-D)

The conference is being organised by IIT-Delhi, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-Madras), Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISc) and CSE, under the banner of the Indian Climate Research Network (ICRN).
