DELHI DIALOGUE ON GOVERNANCE, LOKPAL & SWARAJ ON TUESDAY

Aam Aadmi Party will organise the seventh and final phase of its ongoing DELHI DIALOGUE on Tuesday evening (January 27) at Patparganj.
Former chief minister and AAP convenor will announce the party’s roadmap for Delhi on – Governance, Lokpal and Swaraj.
Tuesday’s programme will mark the culmination of DELHI DIALOGUE, the AAP initiative to enegage with residents of the national capital. The conclusions based on discussions with various sections of the society have formed the basis of the AAP manifesto for the Delhi assembly elections.
AAP was formed following a popular movement in the country for the creation of a strong and effective Lokpal, to eradicate corruption in high places.
The AAP government was defeated on the floor of Delhi assembly on February 14, 2014, when the BJP and Congress together voted against introduction of Delhi Lokpal Bill, following which the Arvind Kejriwal government resigned.
The AAP is committed to put in place an exemplary anti-corruption infrastructure in place and the Lokpal is one of the most important institutions to strengthen the fight against corruption.

  AAP WHITE PAPER ON WATER PROBLEM OF DELHI ON TUESDAY

The AAP will on Tuesday afternoon bring out a six-page white paper detailing the reasons for water problems faced by the residents of Delhi and the party’s vision on how it intends to solve this serious problem.
The party will unveil its blueprint on lifeline water, universal access to water, its pricing policy and commitment to quality water.
The AAP has decided to bring out detailed research on serious issues concerning the people of Delhi and these white papers will form the basis for party’s governance documents.
The party has already put in public domain its white paper on electricity and the AAP’s proposed roadmap offering solutions to solve the energy problems faced by the residents of the national capital. (ENDS)
