The European Parliament has adopted a resolution asking India to allow the return of two Italian marines accused of killing two Indian fishermen. India has disapproved the European Parliament resolution on Italian marines issue. The two marines are accused of killing Indian fishermen. In the resolution, the European Parliament asked India to allow the marines to return. External Affairs Ministry spokesman Syed Akbarudddin said, the European Parliament should have been advised not to adopt the resolution. He said, the case involving the marines is sub judice and is being discussed between India and Italy. On Wednesday, the Supreme Court granted three months extension to the Italian marine, Massimiliano Latorre, for his stay in Italy on health grounds.
