I provided Technical Expertise to Two Highest TRP Rating Programs of
30 minute for to leading News Media Starnews and Aaj Tak.
My tenant Paul Murphy, freelance journalist working for Daily Mail in
1994-95 didn’t have Fax and Telephone line. I was providing Telephone
Line Extension to him – sometimes he used to write a one page story in
10-15 minutes and ready to Fax it was paid $800 – in case of travel
was paid another $800, when Indian journalists earned $800 in a month.
So value of the Media Content is 30-50 Times than India – to achieve
$200b revenue by 2019 all India need is Create Stories for the World.
Indian Basmati Rice fetch $1 per kg but Tax-Basmati Branded Basmati is
retailed for $10 per kg.
Indian media too like wise is low grade.
Both Fast Running Meters in particular and BRT are Global Impact
Stories but Starnews and Aaj Tak turned this Global Impact story in to
Local Issue.
‘Highest TRP Rating Starnews Story on Fast Meters’ – was largely
Focused on Delhi - poor extorted to pay 50% of their Earning as
Electricity Bills.
It was Hindi program could have been produced in English for GLOBAL IMPACT.
BRT was another such Highest TPR program for Aaj Tak in 2008 pin
pointing every single Problem on month in advance.
Such global impact stories with advertisement could yield $10m to $20m
per story.
‘Meter & BRT Stories Made for Global Consumption could have earned
$20m each including advertisement.’
Indian Media has to Expand to Global Scale – Develop Stories for the world.
Similarly India should Promote Indian Inventor – Develop Products For
World GDP $75,000b.
