·         How Discom’s & Utilities have been openly Violating by non-compliance to RPO towards Renewable Energy, while at the same time billing the consumers a higher tariff for Renewable Energy cost absorption?
·         How electricity regulators in state & centre have turned a blind eye to this grave National issue that has derailed the REC (Renewable Energy Certificate) markets? – The RPO violation in 4 – years threatens to be in the region of a whopping Rs. 20,000 cr /annum   (Rs. 80,000/- cr in 4 years in India). In Chhattisgarh alone CREDA has been fighting the RPO battle with discoms who have billed consumers Rs. 850 cr / annum for RE absorption in tariff not procuring the RE necessary to comply with the tariff differential accumulated and collected from end consumers for this purpose over last 4 – years.
