SIT to probe Sunanda Pushkar death case

Jan 7, Delhi Police has constituted a Special Investigation Team headed by DCP South to probe the Sunanada Pushkar death case.Delhi Police Commissioner B S Bassi told reporters that police will proceed in the case as per the investigation plan. He said that Police will do everything possible that is required to solve the case of the wife of former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor. He said, a case of murder has already been registered in this regard. In reply to question, Mr B S Bassi said, wherever required to send its team, the police will visit for investigation. Yesterday Police Commissioner had said that the medical report has confirmed that the death of Sunanada Pushkar was unnatural and caused by poisoning. The report indicated that Sunanda died of poison which could have been either consumed orally or given through injection. Sunanda Pushkar was found dead at a hotel in Delhi in January last year in mysterious circumstances.
