an interview in this week's SPIEGEL, Mikhail Gorbachev blasts Germany
and the West over their roles in the Ukraine crisis and accuses the
United States of building a "global empire." Speaking of Russian ties
with the West, he warns, "I do, in fact, see all the signs of a new Cold
War. Things could blow up at any time if we don't act."
