The government has garnered bids worth of Rs 1,07000 crore from telecoms operators at the end of 12th day of auction process of spectrum bands. Till now, 74 rounds of bidding have taken place. An official release said, there is aggressive bidding going on in all bands of 2100 Mega Hertz, 1800 MHz, 900 MHz and 800 MHz bands. At the end of 74th round of bidding, over 88 per cent of the spectrum has been provisionally allocated to bidders. It said, majority of service areas are going at a premium over reserve price. However, the government will not release results of the auction because of a court ruling. |
