New Delhi, February 6th, 2014 Triumph Motorcycles India Private Limited today unveiled the Daytona 675 for the Indian market at this year’s Auto Expo 2014. The demand generated post the introduction of 10 international models and the customer feedback received has fuelled this exciting new launch. Priced at INR 10.15 lac (ex-showroom price: Delhi) the Daytona 675 will give Triumph Motorcycles the competitive edge within the super sports segment of the market.
The Daytona 675 shook the super sports class to the core by not only daring to be different with its three-cylinder, 675cc layout, but instantly raising the bar in outright performance. It was fastest on the track, the best to ride on the road and brought a new depth of character to a class of excellent but often indistinguishable alternatives. The basic format was so good, the Daytona has remained at the top of the sector ever since, winning countless magazine comparison tests and even trouncing the world's best superbikes in the prestigious international Masterbikes shootout, winning overall for two years in succession! In competition the Daytona has won hundreds of races and many titles around the world, while simultaneously seducing owners with its distinctive and stirring three-cylinder sound track and real-world road manners.
