A new Political outfit : Swaraj India
Alternative Politics can only be achieved when political parties adhere to at least basics of our Constitution like Federalism. Federalism respects diverse voices of our states while maintaining Unity. Unfortunately, existing Political Parties defy this principle as they are governed by a Central Power.
Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan have launched their new political outfit namely Swaraj India. They made this announcement at the founding convention of the party in New Delhi today.

Prashant Bhushan will be the president of the party. In a series of tweets, Mr Yadav said, the Swaraj Abhiyan will continue as campaign organization after formation of the party.
Speaking at the convention, Mr Bhushan said, the forming a new party for alternative politics is a sacred duty. He said, the internal democracy, decentralization, transparency and accountability are the yardsticks of the alternative politics.
Last year, the two leaders were expelled from the AAP for alleged anti-party activities and later they had founded Swaraj Abhiyan to take forward the anti-corruption movement and other social causes.
