10 YEARs OF SCIENCESPO (PARIS) IN INDIA
Sciences Po, the French leading university in Social Sciences, is celebrating 10 years of presence in India. To mark this anniversary, Dr. Ashwani Kumar, former Minister of Law and Justice and current member of Rajya Sabha, will address the Sciences Po Alumni and partners in Delhi. The event will take place at the Residence of French Ambassador to India, H.E Alexandre Ziegler, himself a Sciences Po Alumnus.

FACTS: Sciences Po is ranked 4th for Politics & International Studies by 2016 QS world rankings, alongside Harvard University, Oxford University and the London School of Economics, and just ahead of the University of Cambridge. Its Alumni include five French Presidents including François Hollande, 12 French Prime Ministers, 4 heads of the IMF, as well as many CEO and CFOs from the corporate sector. S.E Mohan Kumar, India Ambassador to France, and Chandrika Kumaratunga, former Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, also graduated from Sciences Po.
Over the last decade, the Parisian top university has developed a significant cooperation with India, having inked MoUs with thirteen top universities and colleges, and opened two offices, in Delhi and Mumbai. Since 5 years, the number of Indian students at Sciences Po has been multiplied by three, and the university is already counting on a dynamic community of over 150 Alumni in India.
On this occasion, Ms Laurence Souloumiac, Head of Sciences Po centre for Asia, and Ms Marie Azuelos, International Affairs Manager will be flying from Paris, along with the India Delegates Neha Khanna and Sophie Collet. Ms Souloumiac and her team would be pleased to interact with members of the press to discuss the internationalization of SciencesPo, its collaborations with Indian institutions and companies, and its vision of social inclusion.
