·        MLAs with Criminal Cases: Out of the 68 MLAs analysed22(32%) MLAs have declared criminal cases against them.  Out of 68 MLAs analysed during Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections in 201214 (21%) MLAs had declared criminal cases against themselves.
·        MLAs with Serious Criminal Cases: 8 (12%) MLAs have declared serious criminal cases against them. Out of 68 MLAs analysed during Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections in 20125 (7%) MLAs had declared serious criminal cases against themselves.
·        Party wise MLAs with Criminal Cases:  2(10%) out of 21 MLAs from Indian National Congress (INC), 18(41%) out of 44 MLAs from Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP)1(100%) MLA from CPI (M) and 1(50%) out of 2 Independent MLAs have declared criminal cases against them in their affidavits.
·        Party wise MLAs with Serious Criminal Cases:  1(5%) out of 21 MLAs from Indian National Congress (INC), 6(14%) out of 44 MLAs from Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and 1(100%) MLA from CPI (M) have declared serious criminal cases against them in their affidavits.
