CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury meanwhile said that the party considers both the country-wide Bandh and the voting on cut motion - as its victory for raising, successfully, the issue of price rise.

Another surprise voter for the government was Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren, who runs the state government on BJP's support.
